Alzheimers Otago, our members are at the heart of our organisation. Being a member of Alzheimers Otago means you are joining a group of people who share your experience and interest in Alzheimers Disease and dementia. Your membership fees help us to do our important work. If you need to renew your membership, or would like to sign up as a new member, please fill in the form below and send it to us.   3. Become a Dementia Friend. This online course is only 20 minutes and will increase your knowledge and confidence about dementia. Increased understanding of dementia will grow inclusion and reduce the stigma and discrimination people affected by dementia experience.

Alzheimers Otago, being a charity, relies on community support to offer its services. One way you can help us is to become a member of Alzheimers Otago Incorporated. Our members are at the heart of our organization. Importantly, your membership fees help us to continue to do our important work. Membership allows you to enjoy the satisfaction of supporting our organization’s continued efforts to help and improve the lives of individuals living with dementia. Being a member means joining a community of individuals who understand and care about dementia.

Our annual Membership fee is just $25 for individuals or families and $100 for corporations.

Membership provides:

  • Vital support to ensure we can continue to deliver our services
  • Membership to a community of people you care about or are in a similar situation to you
  • Voting rights at our AGM to help guide the direction of the society
  • first access to new programmes and services
